Who Is the RAD HUNTER?
I have been fascinated by wonder of nature that is not detected by our limited senses. Ever since a fellow electronics enthusiast gave me a vintage Universal Atomics Geiger Counter at a young age, that fascination included the world of Ionizing (Nuclear) Radiation.

That surplus device, in addition to other things like Oscilloscopes and Field Strength Meters, was part of my Inspiration to study Physics and Engineering, both formally and through my own projects. This led to a career of working with Lasers, Industrial Sound and Lighting equipment, and later, a 35 year career in Human Spaceflight Operations. Today, the RAD HUNTER offers this knowledge and experience to enhance awareness of the unseen in the places people spend the most time. The RAD HUNTER operates out of his Geodesic Dome along the Florida Space Coast.
